There Were Two Important Auto Recalls This Week:
Chrysler has recalled about 300,000 SUVs because of a potential braking problem while driving uphill. The recall includes 2006/2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander SUV models, as well as 2007 Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Nitro SUVs. Chrysler has received numerous complaints from owners of these recalled SUVs, where drivers have experienced a delay in braking while trying to stop after coasting uphill.
Honda has recalled about 180,000 2006/2007 model Civics in order to fix a wheel-bearing seal that might leak and cause the wheel to fall off the car.
