April 29, 2010 By E. Sizemore Leave a Comment

Shame on Graco! Are you a parent? Do you own a Graco crib? It might make you uneasy to learn that Graco is recalling 217,000 cribs that could suffocate or strangle children. But it will terrify and anger you to know how many times this has happened.

A search for Graco on this website will reveal this disturbing pattern:

April 2010 – 217,000 Graco cribs recalled
Click the link above for more details on this latest Graco crib recall, which involves about 217,000 Graco cribs with faulty hardware that can cause the recalled drop side crib to detach from the crib, creating a gap in which infants and toddlers can become wedged or entrapped, posing a risk of suffocation and strangulation.

April 2010 – Simplicity Cribs Recalled by Retailers; Mattress-Support Collapse Can Cause Suffocation and Strangulation
Like several other Simplicity Crib recalls, this one includes Graco-branded cribs.

March 2010 – Graco Recalls Harmony High Chairs: Fall Hazard

America when is enough enough? We vote for product by purchasing them. Your money is your vote. The only way to send a message to Graco and the stores that carry these products is to stop buying them. If they don’t sell any they won’t have to recall any will they?
