About 250 Abby Dining Chairs manufactured by NPD Furniture have been recalled. Due to poor quality, the chair legs can buckle and break unexpectedly, which poses a fall hazard.
The company has received four reports of a chair leg breaking, but no injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately contact NPD Furniture for a full refund.
The recalled Abby Dining Chair has dark brown wooden legs with seat and back upholstery in either gray or green fabric with black or white edge piping. The chair is approximately 20 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 36 inches tall. The SKU number 428136-CS-C or 428136-GS-C is printed on the product packaging. There are no identifying labels on the product itself, which was purchased from various home furnishing retailers nationwide July to November 2014 for about $200.
