A study published in 2017, looked at data for 51 children who had been diagnosed with hypophosphatemia, most of whom had been fed a diet solely consisting of Neocate formula products. Researchers found that 94% had bone “fractures, undermineralization, or rickets.” Those who could change to a different formula began to improve shortly after the switch.
