General Nutrition Centers, Inc. (GNC) is recalling certain lots of their Triflex Peanut Butter Soft Chews due to a risk of Salmonella contamination.
These GNC Triflex Peanut Butter Soft Chews have ingredients made at the Peanut Butter Corporation of America (PCA) plant responsible for the recent salmonella outbreak.
The recalled GNC products were sold in 60-count containers with UPC code 048107036942 and lot numbers ending in 8275 and 8255. The ten-digit lot number can be found on the bottom of the package.
Consumers who have purchased this recalled GNC product are urged not to consum the product and to destroy it. If you have any questions, contact GNC’s customer service hotline at 1-888-462-2548, Monday through Friday during business hours.

Does the Best Choice Peanut butter have the peanut butter paste in it that would cause a health risk?
I use the BC products a lot and will be disappointed if the health scare is in their peanut butter.
