We have received a few emails asking why we have not covered on this blog the biggest recall news event of the year: The E.Coli Outbreak from Contaminated Spinach Leaves.
I want to make it clear that this issue is extremely important to us. It has affected me personally, as my wife has been violently ill for over a week after eating a salad with spinach leaves. But this blog was meant to expand the coverage from our news feeds, and provide editorial commentary about corporate responsibility issues. US Recall News does not have any new information about the recent E.Coli outbreak, and it is our understanding that is was an accident. Furthermore, we applaud efforts by the FDA and CDC for their quick response and ability to narrow down the source.
