Bodybuilding.com Supplements Recalled: May Contain Steroids

November 4, 2009 By E. Sizemore 4 Comments

bodybuilding-comBodybuilding supplement companies usually go out of their way to make the names of their products sound like steroids, but the FDA thinks some of them have gone so far as to actually include real anabolic steroids in the mix.

Bodybuilding.com has announced that it is conducting a worldwide recall of all lots and expiration dates of 65 dietary supplement products (see the list below) that were sold through the Company’s website, www.bodybuilding.com.

The FDA has informed the Company that it believes that the Recalled Products contain anabolic steroids which are controlled substances in the United States.

The following ingredients are currently classified, or the FDA believes should be classified, as steroids: “Superdrol,” “Madol,” “Tren,” “Androstenedione,” and/or “Turinabol.” The FDA claims to have found these steroids in the supplements sold on bodybuilding.com.

Bodybuilding.com states that all product manufacturers provided assurance to them that the products below were properly classified as dietary supplements in compliance with federal law, meaning that these products did not contain any unlawful ingredients.

Customers who have any of the Recalled Bodybuilding.com supplements in their possession should stop using them immediately and contact their physician if they have experienced any problems that may be related to taking one or more of the ingredients listed above.

Consumers should return any unused products purchased on the the Bodybuilding.com website to the Bodybuilding.com, LLC. For instructions on how to return Recalled Products you can call (1-866-236-8417) or e-mail ([email protected]).

This is beyound belife all and I mean all of these so called dangerous products are only pro hormones they do not contain steroids at all your body turns them in to s teroids in your body and every single customer that brought these products knew this its not a hidden fact ! These are created so that people don’t get arrested or imprisioned because they want to change there bodys I think its compleatly stupid withdrawing these products ecause all it will do is make the people that were going to use these use steroids instead ! At the end of the day its my body and there is no law in any country that will stop me using pro hormones or steroids and withdrawing them from shop shelves will only drive the trade underground and that’s where the real dangers start ! So stop trying to tell us how to live our lives and what we do with our bodys because no on knows my body as well as I do and rather than making all these things illegal and pushing all the money in to the underground and making all these drugs dangerously cut and dirty lable them up put them on the shelves and let us decide what to do with our bodys !!!
