Springfield, MO – Bass Pro Shops® is voluntarily recalling one lot of Uncle Buck’s® Beer Batter Mix Lightly-Seasoned as a precautionary measure because the product was received from a supplier that used crushed black pepper that may have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Lance, Inc. with headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina is recalling 28,087 cases of Tom’s Barbecue Potato Chips packaged in 1 oz (UPC 021900060406), 2.25 oz (UPC 021900011477) and 8.5 oz (UPC 021900062417) sizes because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Long term complications can include severe arthritis.
To date, there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
