i have subaru legacy 2001 model. i have the same problem with my car . the hose pipes subaru company has given in such a stupid manner made up of weak plastic which can’t bear the pressure of fuel passing through. they should give the whole fuel pump assembly made up of metal as given in fuel pump for
STI rally car model. i bought it from subaru dealer OTE original parts and the pump assembly lasted for just two months and the fuel hose pipe cracked and fuel started leaking. the engineers for subaru fuel pump design should be sued for playing with the lives of subaru owners. such a nice car and such a stupid design for fuel pump assembly. all my money is lost . who is to blame sitting here in a middle eastern country.??
