I purchased a new Hyundai Accent with Kumho Solus tires on it in September 2010. I have already had to have my tires rotated due to tread separation. I think that these tires will be next on the recall list.
just had a blowout at 50 mph. sidewall falure.

purchased 7-11-08 they have only about 11,000 miles.
never under inflated, never overloaded.
I have Kumho Solus 215/70R14 and have a had separation on 3 of 4 tires. My question did they ever recall these tires.?
I purchased my Hyundai Accent with in 2007. My car now has 27,000 miles on it and I have had to replace the Kumho Solus tires three times already due to excessive tread wear. Kumho, the tire manufacturer blames it on the model of the car and Hyundai is blaming it on Kumho. If anyone else has had problems with 205/45VR-16 83V BSW KH16 Kumho Solus tires I think they should be recalled.
Have a 2004 Pontiac Vibe…Kumho Solus KH16 P205/55 R16. Daughter had left rear blowout at 55mph. Was able to control the car to a stop. tred seperation!
I have a 2006 BMW x3. This morning 3/20/2012 I was in the garage to fix a small nail hole in one tire. I noticed major separation on the inside of the front tire (the unaffect nail tire). The was a12 inch split along the bead of the tire. It was not a result from a cut as the tear was jagged and uneven. I was very lucky not to have geen in accident.
I HAVE 4 NEW TIRES ON 2015 DODGE JOURNEY IN 9/30/2017 AND I HAVE ONE TIRE THAT HAS A BLET BROKE IN IT .THE TIRES ARE KUMHO SOLUS KH16 P225/65R17 THE DOT IS 000 E6 YP5M 3816.
