Purchased a Bass Tracker 175 TXW along with a 2007 Trailstar PT-175V2 trailer in May 2007. In August of 2008, the wood railing on the trailer has rotted out completely and has broken away from two of the “L” support bars. One of the bars have bent and it needs repair also. Really dissappointed to have problems so early with this product. Trailer price: $1,000.00. Trailer worth: Much less.
We have a Bass Tracker we bought in 2005 and our wood railing on the trailer has rotted out. I only found out when I was pulling the trailer out of the water, after launching the boat. There is no warning, all the bolts fell out. Does anyone know if they use treated wood? It sure doesn’t seem like it.
