Summary: SABERSPORT IS RECALLING 16,270 COMBINATION CORNER AND BUMPER LAMP ASSEMBLIES OF VARIOUS PART NUMBERS SOLD FOR USE AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS PASSENGER VEHICLES. THESE HEADLAMPS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, “LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.” THESE LAMPS DO NOT CONTAIN THE REQUIRED AMBER SIDE REFLECTORS.
Consequence: DECREASED LIGHTING VISIBILITY MAY RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
Remedy: SABERSPORT WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND OFFER A FULL REFUND FOR THE NONCOMPLIANT COMBINATION LAMPS. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING APRIL 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT SABERSPORT AT 1-909-598-7589.

I recently bought a 1999 Grand Am. The headlights are horrible. I’ve tried contacting Sabersport by phone regarding the recall on the headlights and the # that’s listed is a fax #. I need my lights fixed ASAP because they are putting me in danger every time I drive at night. Please contact me.
I have a 1999 Chevy malibu and a 1996 GMC Van both are under the recall I have tried to make contact with no success. If some can help me that would be greatly appreciated
