I spent over 11 grand on a 08′ skidoo 800r power tek mxz renegade and i was nice enough to pay the whole deal in full! Little did i know that i was going to be spending more money on that piece os shit! thats right a piece of shit! The chaincase oil leaks severly, the right front shock is dew for repairs for the third time, the engine has overheated so many fricken times and it blew a piston, the tachometer does not even work! And now I need to pay an additional 1300 dollars to get the fucken recall fixed! The total amount of money that i am going to be spending is now going to be nearly 14 grand for a snowmachine that does not work! Fucken sell me the machine and once i got it out here they turned around and told me i need to pay to ship it back to get the recall fixed!!! What the hell? Keep the fucken snowmachine and give me my money back! That snowmachine overheats every few miles or so, the chaincase leaks real bad, the tachometer does not work, the front right shock is going dead for the third time, i blew a piston going only 20 miles an hour! I have been trying to be real nice and patieant with skidoo and your dealersa but man it seems you trap your customers out here in rural Alaska and take advantage of them!! Help me upgrade that machine to it’s stuiped name, “Highperfomance”. I watched skidoo get it’s ass kicked by artic cat and polaris the iron dog is the race to watch because it takes a true honest hardworking machine to win. I bought that skidoo because of it’s weight and areodynamics and because some idiot at th reviews said it was the best! I called my dealer and they said that i need to pay the shipping cost to and from the dealer which will be nearly 1700 dollars in order for them to fix the recall and repair the piston. Shit i have used all the recomended skidoo products and filled out the warranty and registration stuff and even talk to a skidoo rep and nobody even calls me back or even assist me! THAT IS FUCKEN WRONG! Shit by the time i get that snowmachine on the road it will have costed me enough to buy a truck. SKIDOO YOU SORRY ASSES HAVE NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT!! I hope artic cat and polaris keeps on putting you in your place in the rear with the gear!!!!

I bought a SkiDoo Tundra LT V800 brand new in 2010 from SkiDoo in Wasilla, AK. The machine constantly overheats. The only advice I’ve been given is to shut it off until it cools down or ride it in powder. It does not overheat when I stick to the powder but I purchased this as a work machine and it simply is not made for work. Pulling a sled with fifty pounds or more of weight compounds the problem as I must stop and wait for the machine to cool off every mile or so.

sad owner of a 2009 summit 600 ho etec since 1/2009. had machine shipped from dealer. Immediately noticed problems with it.

hesitations at about 5000 rpm and at upper end.
    fuel gauge indicates empty
    sensors getting false readings
got 5,000 miles on it and sitting in the shop now with a blown engine (second time)

I’ve toasted the engine twice with no warnings indicated. It has been to the shop too many times. has had the engine, the whole engine, replaced. the new one only has about 1,000 miles and blew up again. What is wrong here? spent about 11 grand on a piece of %$# that has only caused me frusterations!

    I need help!

My husband bought me a 550 skidoo gtx, 2008 and he studded . Runs great.
We were headed to the lake to do some riding so he checked it out and I have a gash on the bottom right under the gastank! Has that happened to anyone else.
Also my husband found out some pieces were missing and they put one shock upside down. I don’t even have 400 miles on it and I am not rough. Is this a standard?
