The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with the Empire Silver Company of Brooklyn, New York, has announced a voluntary recall of the Sterling Silver Teething Rings. The hazard of these rings is that the silver ball that hold the ring in place can separate and release the beads inside, which poses a choking and aspiration hazard to infants. So far, no injuries or deaths have been reported.
For additional information, please contact the Empire Silver Company at 800.255.9475 between 8:30 and 5:00 p.m. ET M-F or visit the company’s website at www.empiresilver.com.
