Zencore tabs being marketed as a dietary supplement for “natural male enhancement” have been recalled because they contain undeclared ingredients used to make prescription drugs for erectile dysfunction (ED).
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lab analysis of Zencore Tabs found that they contain aminotadalafil, an analog of tadalafil, and sildenafil, both of which are active ingredients of prescription drugs used to treat ED. Zencore Tabs also contained sulfosildenafil and sulfohomosildenafil which are analogs of sildenafil.
According to the FDA: “All of these undeclared chemicals pose a threat to consumers because they may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.“
If you have this product you are advised to stop taking it immediately. You are also advised to consult with your doctor if you experience any problems that you think might have to do with taking Zencore tabs.
