Update: Click Here for More on the Fleet Phospho-Soda Recall
A serious form of kidney failure has been associated with the use of oral sodium phosphate (OSP) products such as Fleet Phospho-soda solution, and Fleet Accu-Prep solution for bowel cleansing.
The FDA is considering a recall, but has not reached a final conclusion.
Bowel cleansing products are used to clean the stool out of your bowel before certain medical procedures, like colonoscopy.
No cases of kidney failure have been associated with a recently approved OSP product (OsmoPrep tablets) for bowel cleansing.

Well… people who take bowel cleansing products, in all fairness, kind of deserve what they get.

Wholesomedick needs to get a life. Some folks are taking these products to cleanse not because of a fad, but as a life saving procedure to check for cancer. Hopefully you never get that cancer, it is painful and deadly.

How dare you. I’m 29, and my colonoscopy this summer (which required me to drink sodium phosphate and other products) is how we found my polyp and now know to screen earlier for cancer. I am not as polite as Mike. YOU are a fucktard.
