To whom this may concern, I bought a Pontiac in Oct 2007 and it had 29,000 miles and soon after I purchased it I noticed a popping in the steering column when I would turned the wheel! Anyways about a 8 months ago it gradually started jerking as I would start to accelerate and it got worse and then it started jerking really hard when I would put it from park into drive it jerks really hard and start to take off and now it is to the point it acts like it doesn’t want to shift and then it will jerk! I have continuously taking it to Bedford in Chickasha Oklahoma where I purchased it 1st they did the catalytic converter and it still ran the same engine lite was still on so i took it back and they said it was the O2 sensor and it wasn’t under warranty to fix..so we take it to a mechanic and he fix three of the sensors…still didn’t fix the problem. So I take it back to byford and they fix the gasket and manifold…still didn’t fix the problem engine lite is still on! It runs horrible, and also when it is in park it has a terrible title and a really bad vibration like the wheel is going to fall off when I am driving on the highway and I am very concerned for me and my child’s safety and I am absolutely sick of dealing with this….in the min-st of it all someone backed in to me and I wasn’t able to get my car fixed BC we were taking it to all kinds of mechanics and it was doing this way before my car got hit! Byford treated be like I don’t know what I am talking about and I am very disappointed with there service department!!! My car runs like a piece of junk and it only has 64,000 miles there is no excuse for this! It also still has a warranty on it!
