Fairbank Farms of Ashville, N.Y., has recalled about 884 pounds of ground beef products because they might be contaminated with E. coli bacteria.
Fairbank Farms is a DBA of Fairbank Reconstruction Corp., who discovered the contamination danger during their routine microbiological testing program.
What To Look For:
1.33-pound trays of “Shaw’s Fresh Ground Beef Patties, 85/15.” Each “Nutrition Facts” label has a date code of “243” and a time stamp between “17:05” and “17:25”. Each package of recalled ground beef has the establishment number “Est. 492” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
