Gerber Legendary Blades Recalls Winchester Hunting Knife Sets

recalled-hunting-knivesAbout 13,000 Winchester Hunting Knife Sets are being recalled by Gerber Legendary Blades, of Portland, Oregon because the latch the holds the knife’s interchangeable blades can unexpectedly release the blade.

The recalled Winchester Hunting Knife Sets have a model number of 31-000801, which can be found on the back, lower-right corner of the package. The knife sets have a single handle with a lock release button that allows the user to switch between four different blades. The Winchester® brand name is printed in red on the handle and is etched onto the side of each blade.

These knives were sold at various sporting goods stores around the country from July 2011 through September 2011 and cost about $20.

You are advised to stop using these recalled knives right away and contact Gerber Legendary Blades at 877-314-9130  for a free replacement product of equal or greater value.
