Honda, Subaru Recall Vehicles for Seatbelt Failures

A new, dual recall announcement has been issued for 311,000 Honda SUVs and half a million Subaru vehicles. The automobiles were found to have safety-related problems that might cause serious injuries to drivers and their passengers.
Eye Infections, Complications Due to Off-Label Usage of Avastin

According to an FDA advisory issued August 30, 12 patients have developed serious bacterial infections after using intravitreal injections of bevacizumab (Avastin). Of these 12 patients who developed Streptococcus endophthalmitis, which can lead to blindness and brain damage, at least five have lost all remaining vision in their treated eyes. The incidents occurred in three different clinics in Miami, Los Angeles, and Nashville.

Target Recalls to Repair Embark Resistance Cords Due to Injury Hazard

Incidents/Injuries:
Target has received three reports of incidents in which consumers were struck in the eye by the door anchor ball. Two incidents resulted in permanent vision loss, and the severity of the injury in the third incident is unknown.
