B&M Inc. of Mount Vernon, Missouri announced on April 15, 2011 the recall of Archer Farms Ground Turmeric due to excess lead levels. The turmeric comes in a glass bottle with a net weight of 2.6 oz. (74g) and is specifically sold at Target stores.
The Archer Farms Ground Turmeric was distributed to Target retail stores in the following states from June, 2009, to February, 2010: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI.

Under the “test and hold” policy, meat will not be shipped until it is tested and determined to be free of dangerous bacteria.

ADP Recalls Unit Heaters Due to Possible Fire Hazard

Advanced Distributor Products (ADP) of Grenada, Mississippi is recalling ADP FOA series unit heaters due to potential fire hazard. During manufacturing some heaters were assembled without a required flame rollout switch, which is a back-up device that shuts down the heater in the event of a heater failure. Roughly 400 units are affected by the recall.
Cub Cadet Recalls Riding Lawn Mowers Due to Fire Hazard

About 4,300 Cub Cadet riding lawn mowers are being recalled because a fuel leak could pose a fire hazard.
No injuries have been reported as of the date of this recall, but a fuel leak near the rear mounting screws on the bottom of the gas tank could cause a fire on these recalled 2011 Cub Cadet zero turn riding lawn mowers.

Redken 5th Avenue Recalls Guts Spray Mousse Foam Due to Risk of Rupture

Redken, a hair care company based out of NY, New York is recalling Spray Mousse Foam Cans due to potential rupture. Over time the aerosol containers inside lining can corrode creating the potential risk of rupturing and the contents released. Nearly 1 million cans have been recalled.
Affected hair styling products include Redken Guts 10 Volume Spray Mousse Foam sold in 10.58- and 2-ounce size cans. The product comes in a silver container with “Redken” and “10″ printed on the front of the product in black writing.
The foaming mousse is manufactured in the United States and was distributed and sold at beauty supply stores and hair salons nationwide from January 1998 through February 2011 for between $4 and $16. The product can be identified by a lot code printed on the bottom of the can. Lot codes included in this recall include: 32G10Y, 32G11Y, 32G20Y, 32G21Y, 32G23Y, 32G40Y, 32G41Y, 32G60Y, 32G61Y, 32G62Y, 32G70Y.

Mercedes-Benz has recalled its M-class vehicles in the United States that were made between 2000 and 2004 for issues related to the cruise control that could lead to accidents. The recall, which affects almost 137,000 vehicles, was published Tuesday, April 5, by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
