Honda Fit Recall – 2007 & 2008 Models – Headlight Problems

December 16, 2010

Honda Fit Recall Image Honda has recalled 1.3 million Fit 2007-2008 year/model vehicles due to problems with the headlights that could cause loss of low-beam headlight functionality.

This Honda Fit recall affects 1,355,217 vehicles globally, and about 143,000 cars in the United States.

2007 and 2008 Honda Fit owners should contact the dealer to schedule a time for inspection of the vehicle to determine if parts need to be replaced.

Honda has stated that no injuries have been reported as a result of this problem with headlights in the Fit vehicles.

US Recall News will post updates as more information becomes available. You can also contact your local Honda dealership for more details.

This recall is in addition to the previous 2007 / 2008 Honda Fit recall for potential fire hazards.

I have a Honda Fit 2008 with 58K on it! I have the same issues the past week with my driverside door..the lock will not turn. The passenger side turns fine.
