I bought a used 2002 honda accord. Though the car runs very smooth, it has the SRS symbol ON always. and I do see an open recall on my VIN. The recall also refers to a Safetly measure. I also read somewhere that the manufacturer should fix any Safety related Recalls for Free. But if Honda dealers are charging money to theri customers, is there a grievance cell or something to report about whats happening..

I have a 2003 Honda CRV. My SRS light came on and I was told by my dealer to "make sure you wear your belt." Sounds like the airbag will not function properly if I crash. I have an appointment to have this looked at but they will charge me and they seemed unconcerned. If the airbag is not going to deploy, isn't this something Honda should be concerned with?

I own a 2002 honda accord and the airbag light has been on for a very long time. I called a honda dealer and he said they would have to charge me to look at it.He said if it is a seat belt problem they would fix it at no charge but if it is not a seat belt problem they would have to charge me. So much for foreign cars.P.S. I always buy american as this car was given to me as a gift.

I own a 2004 Honda Accord, i purchased from a honda dealer in Downey on Jan 2, 2009...i called the dealer because i was having a problem with the airbag light that would stay on next to the spedometer, they informed me that theres was nothing they could do, i was on my own, they basically wanted me to pay them to look at the problem. Now i'm having problems with the airbag light that is located near my emergency lights switch. The off light keeps blinking on and off when i'm driving. Should i be concerned and why will Honda not care if this is a safety feature that i'm concerned about
