I also have the Dakota Mdl. #1-AP046. Upon reading the recall notice and inspecting the swing I found that the cross beams are lierally rotting from the inside. Enclosed in a vinyl cover has allowed moisture to be trapped causing the beam to remain wet and to rot prematurely. The cross beams are currently bent down in what I would call a swag in the middle. The overall problem is not one of hardware but one of poor design by covering the wood in vinyl, trapping water, causing them to rot over a short period of time. This rotting will also eventually cause the four main support post of the tree house to rot and again cause a future safety hazard. This total design needs to be reevaluated and if need be, a total recall of the whole swingset should be concidered with a new replacement or refund of money spent.

Where and how do I get a replacement on my playset. I have the Dakota Playset Model 1-AP046? I have checked the playset that I have and find that on various parts it's weakened but I haven't allowed anyone to put any weight on these particular areas. Please let me know how to get this replacement. Thank you for your time and notification of this problem.
