We had two bottles of tylenol and one bottle of motrin and my 8 month old had them all. After two nights of having the newer bottle of tylenol he has developed a cough. I am definately concerned and I am calling my docotr because the two antibiotics he has been on have not cleared the cough -which is common of this kind of bacteria. I also reported the case two days ago and have not heard back from J&J! There is no excuse for this situation! Someone was not doing their job and now our children are paying the price!

You'll notice that these recalls often happen long after the item, food, drug, beverage has been consumed. Whatever their "reasoning" is it simply comes down to money. They don't want to pay for reclaiming the product, disposing of it, and potential lawsuits that could come from a direct link to use of their product (hence why they wait until long after the item is used, patient has recovered or is dead). They don't care for you and I no matter what they might tell us .. or themselves. Corporate profits at the expense of everything else and business is business attitude is a main culprit. Modern business practices have driven out all concerns for humanity, plants or animals unless it is economically convenient and can be promoted for profit. Argue these points if you will but I have seen too many examples and an increasing trend. FDC even blackens out reports generated by their inspectors before posting for the public so we can't find product specifics like lot numbers .. as though it were top secret national security information. Don't believe me .. check for yourself. This could only be at request of the very companies under investigation.

The recall is for any tylenol from the last year, how am i suppost to no if my son has or has not already taken a whole bottle of this tylenol. It seems as if people are acting like this is no big deal, but from my understanding is that this bacteria is extremely dangerous and highly contagious. Is there going to be a recommended culture to be taken from children that might, or might not have taken the medicines.
