my bike won’t shift in to the next gear some time other time it works fine why i only have 12,000 mile on my 2005 vtx 1800
I’am the first and only owner of my bike. My bike was running fine until yesterday. I have 2002 Honda VTX S model with over 90,000 miles on it. All of a sudden it won’t shift pass second gear. Has anyone else had problem like this . Or know what the problem could be?
I am the not so impressed owner of a ’06 honda vtx 1800 with 23,000 miles on it and the engine had to be rebuilt. I am being told it’s a manufacturing defect that allows the cylinders to be washed with fuel under heavy acceleration. Really? So you buy a big bike and you have to granny it around to ride it? Nice. The pistons and cylinders are scarred with deep hack marks. That is the TRUE reason Honda dumped the 1800. Harley quality came with that Harley price tag on this one. I’ll be trading this one off on a Victory.
