I have a 2001 Honda Accord and a 2008 Honda Odessy (van). These were bought from Classic in Round Rock Texas. I have all maintenace and repair work done by them. I have no complaints with then and will probably still do as I have in the past using them.
I have a problem with the side air bag light coming on while driving down the road and It generally goes back off on the 2001 Accord. It has about 56000 miles on it. The van only has between 12000 and 13000 miles on it. We always bought the extended warranty but its useless to us.
Classic says my vechicle is not covered by the recall. Since I am having a problem according to the warning light I discussed it twice, once after going home and getting a copy of the recall, with them and received the same answer twice. I’ve had trouble with the the side air bag and SRS warning lights before. They fixed the SRS but the side air bag will light up every once in a while.
The Classic staff are very nice folks and I embarassed myself getting a little huffy with them yesterday. Maybe they will forgive. This is not a money thing, its about a safety device that is not working right and I don’t think it should be handled in the manner yesterdays confrontation led to believe it would be.
