I have the FJR1300AS and a problem with the ignition switch. I dare not drive the bike. Though a recall has been made by Yamaha in USA what is the situation in the UK and can you advise a site describing in detail the technical servicing requirements of replacing the switch.

I have the FJR1300AS, but it is a 2004 model which is outside of this recall coverage. I also had the ignition switch problem and wondering if Yamaha may want to start looking at expanding this recall to include the 2004 model. Anyone else with an 04 with switch problems? Comments?
