i have firestone fr380 p225 60r16 on my 2003 montecarlo for 5 months the tires have no control when the roads are wet and they scare me. what alternative do i have
Have numeroous invoices that were not registered showing these tires as being sold in the last 6 months and no way of contacting customer.
This was part of the invoices gathered during a freedom of information act request. Firestone did not put down proper invoices therefore these tires / customers cannot be notified due to no way of contacting them unless Firestone runs ad advising customers with this tire to come in and have it checked.
How can they recall this amount of tires when they have not be registering serial numbers as late as March of this year (2009)?
Over 1200 tires on either in stock waiting to be mounted on county vehicles or already have in Kansas City Kansas without any being registered. These tires are on vehicles which handle the states turnpike. What happens this summer when the heat brings about failed components of these products. Duelers and ATX along with Wilderness tires are all in harms way.
