I also have a 96-Discovery diesel on Freightlliner chassis. I can not see thru the window on the drivers side very well either. This is a safety issue which I wish we would not have to pay for, but before summer, I plan on having some type of single pane installed.

Mine also has major handling problems. I have found that the suspension latteral control arms from side frame to the axle on front and back were manufactured with a plastic bushing, and the permant lube has attacked the plastic which is mostly gone. I suppose all chassis manufactured with these links have the same problem. I have'nt yet contacted the dealer. But unless you're talking about a new purchase, the dealer or service personnel act as if we are homeless beggers. I definitely would not have bought another motorhome had I known how hard it is to get professional advise.
And don't get me started on cummins. I had to manufacture an exhaust pipe to fit onto the turbo ($20) Freighliner wanted $470.00 and cummins refused to be involved past their turbo.

I'm just searching around as of now and before summer. Good luck and God Bless You Sir.
