I can promise you, the manufactures knew PBDEs were leaching out of plastics. I worked in the largest one, and have health effects to prove it. I used to do migration tests on flame retardants and the different plastics they went in. Im not a Chemist, just a Lab Rat walking in a confused state because of these brominated flame retardants.

What is wrong with all of theses manufacturers. The problem is can we trust any company that produces a product knowingly that the are producing items with these toxins in them that we not only use ourselves, but that own children are using. These companies should be ashamed of themselves. Would the CEO etc, let there own families use there products? Then why is ok for ours. We should have a choice and the toxic chemicals used to make these items should be well indicated on a pamphlet that comes with the produc or indicated on the outside of packaging. How come it has taken these companies so long to release this information. Just like the whole BPA problem with China. Can we trust anyone anymore?
