Is it necessary to have a pelvic MRI with both liquid and injection forms to have quality images? The doctor told me that both forms of the dye have to be in the patient in order to differentiate between the intestines and the ovary. (The ovary is slightly enlarged with a dermoid . The doctor told me he is 99.9% certain that it is benign. He just wants to be sure about the other .1%
There is no urgency to have the MRI. I've been told from other sourses that dermoids shrink and also women are born with them in their system.

mri gadolinium Omniscan, July, 2007..... after experiencing almost all symptoms of nsf , finally I have read what might save others a bundle in expense, worry and stress. ALL mri gadolinium victims should seek a deep seeded skin tissue biopsy ...done by a nuerologist ...FIRST. Any other testing seems to postpone, ignore smyptoms, or evade truth, pain and worry that the victim is plagued with every moment of very day and night..(it seems to me). Having only one kidney, I speak from my own personal experience. I think someone should let the insurance companies and medicare know that THEY should request the best , first, and stop milking unnecessary expenses from other tests which are more often than not, just a waste of time and money until it sometimes becomes too late for the victim. It is my experience that they try to mask the truth calling it whatever suits the occasion, using x-rays and other desperate notions with failed attempts, to cure what can't be cured. Do NOT have surgery without a second or third opinion.GOD BLESS, jean

I recently viewed a commercial that was discussing NSF and its symtoms. I am experiencing quite a few of them. Is there any reports of patients who are experiencing an unexplained loss of potassium?
