Think about it…do you really think suddenly we are getting all these lead products from China? We’ve probably been getting them all along…we just never knew about it…for some “strange” reason.

Point of fact: the idea that the British gave smallpox to Native Americans with infected blankets is a myth, for two reasons. First, smallpox is not spread that way, it’s spread like a cold, with somebody coughing on you. Second, it was against the interests of the British (and the French for that matter) to have the Natives down with smallpox; they needed them as military alliances and as fur trade labor. Sadly, the Chinese don’t need our labor, but they do need our consumers, which is what children in this country become when they grow up.

Are we now to believe that the Chinese don’t know what they’re doing? Are they trying to take our children out? Why do we keep acting as if all this lead and crappy quality control is a surprise? Wake up, Americans! Do you really think the Chinese aren’t aware that this crap is poisoning our children, and if it does, who does it benefit? THE CHINESE!

All this news about lead and toxic materials intended for human handling and consumption that were made in China reminds me of the 1700’s when the British handed out blankets to Native Americans, blankets which were laced with smallpox. The rest, as they say, is history……………
