884 Pounds of Ground Beef Recalled Due to Possible E. coli Contamination

Fairbank Farms of Ashville, N.Y., has recalled about 884 pounds of ground beef products because they might be contaminated with E. coli bacteria.

Fairbank Farms is a DBA of Fairbank Reconstruction Corp., who discovered the contamination danger during their routine microbiological testing program.

What To Look For:
1.33-pound trays of “Shaw’s Fresh Ground Beef Patties, 85/15.” Each “Nutrition Facts” label has a date code of “243″ and a time stamp between “17:05″ and “17:25″. Each package of recalled ground beef has the establishment number “Est. 492″ inside the USDA mark of inspection.
