Judge Denlow Orders Q-Ray Bracelet Owner to Repay Snake Oil Profits

A federal judge ruled Friday that the placebo effect is not a valid excuse to advertise a useless product such as the Q-Ray bracelet, made in Spain by Bio-Ray S.A., distributed by QT Inc. of Illinois, and owned by Que Te Park.

US District Judge Morton Denlow ordered QT Inc. to refund over 100,000 duped customers for a bracelet priced up to nearly $250.00. Sales of this “snake oil” profited QT Inc. $22.6 million between 2000 and 2003, all of which judge Denlow ordered the company to forfeit.

We here at US Recall News applaud Judge Morton for his ruling, and for his citation of other cases where false advertising was punished by the courts, such as the Helsinki Formula cure for baldness and the Acu-Dot pain-relieving magnet.

Que Te Park found the bracelet in a Barcelona airport shop and said it helped his back pain, and the rest is history…

Indeed, there are some desperate and not-so-bright people in the world. But that does not give scam artists the right to take advantage of them. We leave that up to the US Government.
