I have the 3 in 1 Graco Simplicity crib, also. I purchased it back in 2005 for my daughter and I also used it for her little sister a few years later and never had a problem with it. I recently found out that Simplicity was a licensed company with Graco and is no longer in business, but I need replacement parts for it due to them getting lost in my last move. I need the screws for it along with the plastic tracks on the side to move the side wall up and down. I need to know where I can order these parts from. I don’t want to just throw it away. I have another baby on the way, so I would need to know soon. At least the correct size of the screws would be appreciated so I can get them from a hardware store. The plastic tracks I really need, also. Thank you.

I have the 3 in 1 crib with the metal mattress support, not wooden. I needed to get the instruction booklet for this bed as it was lost in our recent move. Due to this recall, it is difficult to get replacement pieces. I originally called when the recall was first issued since the bed was still in use. The wooden mattress support was replaced with the metal support, as I have. The bed is fine when properly setup and pieces tightened into place. Is there any responsibility still on the user/parent to use the product properly?

I have a crib that was in storage. It is a Graco with a wooden mattress support. It does not have the model number and serial number on it, but it does look like the Graco Aspen 3 in 1. What do I do about the recall of this crib? I need the crib for my granddaughter that I watch 4 day s a week.

I have Simplicity crib that is recalled is still under warrenty and not only has the retailer gone out of business but so has the manufacturer. I’ve been on the phone and on line with just about everybody I can think of. Knowbody seems to be able to help me. I thought I had a break through because I finally had a Model # along With a UPC# but they didn’t match up. So now it’s back to the old drawing board. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal except I have a nephew Who, I had given th crib as a baby shower gift and he no longer has a bed.You would think that someone would be able to help me get this fixed. I mean all That happens is they take it back and you get store credit it’s not like their going to lose money on the deal if nothing else someone will possibly stand to make more.

Me and my boy friend are having a baby in september and are planning on using this crib that was given to us by his sister and when i typed in my model number it showed up with the recall. we also have the one with the metal mattress support and i wanna make sure that one is safe. I dont understand why if i have the metal one it still comes up with the recall. Can someone please contact me about this seeing as when i call the number that came with the crib its no longer in service.

I was reading the original recall press release and it did state that the recall was only for the models with the wooden mattress support. I also have the metal mattress support and was saddened when my husband, who was looking for instructions to put the crib together online, told me of the recall. We purchased the crib in 2003 for our daughter, who used it with no problems for 4 years. We will now be using it for our son who is 9 months old now.

I have a Graco Aspen 3 in 1 Crib, it is exactly the same as the picture shown above. The crib I have has metal matress supports not the wooden ones. Does my crib have a recall on it? I purchased the crib in 2005, and never had any problems with it. I’m due with my second child on June 13 which is just a couple of weeks away and I can not find the instruction booklet and the screws to the crib. Will you please email me ASAP and let me know if my crib is part of the recall. Also if my crib doesn’t have a recall is there any way I can get a instruction booklet and the screws for the crib sent to me. I would really like to reuse this crib if possible.

OK. I have a Graco Aspen 3 in 1 Crib model 8740KCW but it has the metal matress supports not the wooden ones so does this really mean that mine is not recalled? I keep reading it is the same name and model but the matress supports need to be wood for it to be recalled. Just wanted to clarify. We haven’t had any problems with ours. Thanks

I baught this crib for my daughter, in 2004. She thankfully did not suffer any injuries from the use of this crib! But if any single child had, then that’s enough of a reason to discontinue useage of it. I can’t believe Graco is still coming out with cribs that are not safe for children! Hello! It’s a crib! Little babies sleep in it!!! Why wouldn’t you figure out that it’s not safe before you put it in stores? Why would you wait til a baby has suffocated to recall this?? Surely this crib had to of undergone tests to make sure of its safety before they put it in stores. I don’t understand why it has gone unoticed.

i have a 3 in 1 graco crib also. i never had any problems with the one i have. I Lost the bag of screws it came with due to moving and was wondering if can send me more.I have another baby on way and would like screws it comes with because it can also turn into a twin bed for my daughter.If It Is Such A Recall on it how do i go about getting a refund for another 3 in 1 crib?Thankyou very much and look forward to hearing from you.

Just wanted to mention that I have this crib and called the company to report a problem with the sides coming off track back in 2004 and they basically treated me like an idiot and said I put it together incorrectly.
