A Little About Me:
New blogger and Editor of US Recall News

Hello, my name is Everett Sizemore. Nice to meet you. I am a journalism graduate of Bond University, and an avid supporter of independent, digital journalism.

While there are undoubtedly a few consumer-conscious and socially responsible companies out there, I have become increasingly concerned with the way corporations put profit ahead of the safety of American citizens. For instance, when determining whether or not to recall a product, many of these companies first determine the cost/benefit ratio. In other words, would it cost more to recall the product, or to settle a few personal injury cases (outside of court, they hope). Luckily we have government institutions to protect us from such savage capitalism, but we also need a few independent watchdogs.

US Recall News endeavors to become just such an entity. Of course, in order to do so we must accept advertising dollars (primarily through the Google Adsense program's Lawyer / Attorney ads), which allows us to maintain the hosting of this website and keep up with general maintenance.
